We drove to Bridgeville, DE and met up with MomMom, Uncle Woody and Aunt Lynda for the Spring Festival. We started by enjoying a yummy breakfast where pretty much anything you could think of to want for breakfast was there, and even some things you wouldn't want to eat, like scrapple. ;) They even had Captain Crunch, which has recently become a favorite for our kids. After breakfast, we went outside to the games and activities. They enjoyed pony rides, a petting zoo, bounce house obstacle course, wagon ride, barrel rides and lots of games. While trying to decide which parts were their favorite, I realized that we spent a fair amount of time at each activity. They loved them all! I lost count of how many times Parker rode the barrel ride. I will say that Parker absolutely loved playing all of the games. Tokens could be earned with each game played, which could then be redeemed at a prize booth. He played to his hearts content, and came back to the car with his arms full of snap bracelets, animal masks, a wand, a ring, a ball and a cowboy hat. Parker and Riley also got their faces painted. Riley went back and forth between Spiderman and Batman, before finally deciding on Spiderman. No butterflies or flowers for this girl! I couldn't believe how still she sat for the whole thing. Parker wiped his off on they way home, but Riley kept hers on until bathtime that night, and even then she wasn't quite ready for it to come off. After the festival, we drove to Uncle Woody and Aunt Lynda's house to see their beautiful backyard and to feed the fish. It really was a fun day.
