This was so much fun! What a neat experience! When we first arrived, the kids were able to pick out their Pirate attire and have their faces painted. Riley had a mermaid painted on her arm. When all of the kids were ready, they were lined up and taught how to talk and act like pirates. They then sneakily made their way to the ship, Sea Gypsy, and were granted entrance after showing their muscles to the Captain. Once we set sail, a bottle was discovered floating in the water which informed them that Pirate Pete had stolen the keys to the treasure chest. The kids were able to find Pirate Pete, shoot him with the water cannons, and recover the keys. The kids then had to follow the treasure map to find the treasure by looking for the black X. Once they found the treasure chest, it was pulled on board and divied up among everyone. The crew was so animated and just over the top dramatic. They did an awesome job. Parker has already asked to go again. ;) It's probably more of a one time thing, but I'm so glad that we got to go.
Sounds like so much fun! Sounds like a kids' dream!
