Utah Blaze

We were invited to a Utah Blaze game (Arena Football) by our friends, the Gregory's.  They have awesome connections and were able to give us front row seats along with a few other perks.  They, along with the Johnson's, were at the game, so that was fun to be able to sit next to them. We also decided to invite Clay and Mindi along and make a night of it by going to Texas Roadhouse before the game.  Cassidy has been begging me for Texas Roadhouse since before Valentine's Day and has somehow managed to make me feel guilty that we hadn't been, so needless to say, he was thrilled when Clay suggested we go there. ;)  The game definitely made for a late night for the kids, but they had a blast. They were given the slapsticks to cheer with, black and orange necklaces, a megaphone, popcorn, a t-shirt and a mini helmet to get signed.  T-shirts were being thrown out to the crowd and we had been standing up waving our hands and cheering to try and get one thrown in our directions. Well, the row behind us caught one, and the row in front of us caught one, and none came to us, so we sat down.  Parker reaches down next to his seat 5 or so minutes later, brings up a t-shirt and says something to the effect of, "Here. Do you want this?" Ha, we have no idea where it came from, but it had just been sitting next to him the whole time! Don't know how we missed it! I don't really understand the rules to regular football, let alone arena football, but I don know that we were up the whole game, and we won! So, yay for that! ;) haha
