Salem Pond

I have been able to get together a couple of times with ladies from the ward we were in (in Orem) before we moved to Nebraska.  It has been so fun to catch up! We were in that ward for over 3 years and it's only one of 2 wards that we've been in since we have been married. (Not including the ward we are currently in for just 3 months) One of the families actually moved to Nebraska (Omaha) and is back for the summer living with family.  They live in Salem, so we went down one day to join them at Salem Pond.  It was so pretty and so nice to just let the kids play down in the water and feed the ducks while we were able to visit.  The only downside was the bugs! So many bugs! They weren't bad where we were sitting, just by the water.  The kids didn't seem to mind, though. It was such a pleasant afternoon.
