taking a nap in the shadeThe apartment complex that we just moved into has a pool, so we will most definitely be swimming a lot this summer. It is so hot and humid here, that pretty much everyday I just want to be at the pool. Parker had such a fun time swimming with his turtle. He spent the entire time swimming back and forth from one end of the pool to the other. Even Riley had a fun time in her starfish. In her past swimming experiences, she has not been a huge fan of the water. She played hard, kicking her feet and giggling, for about 25 minutes before deciding that she was done and ready for a nap. Our friends, Bryson and Akoy (11 mos.) joined us for a little bit. Akoy kept us entertained by his persistence in trying to drink the water. We had a great time. To sweeten the deal even more, both kids came home and took 2 1/2 hour naps!
That's so cute, I wish I could have gone! You guys looked like you had a lot of fun. Thanks for letting Akoy borrow some sunscreen! Bryson is still working on being a full time dad. :)
ReplyDeleteThat's my favorite part about going swimming, is the long naps the girls take after. The sun and the water just wipes them out. You guys look like you're having a great time! We all miss you in the ward.
