For Riley's Joy school, we went through the entire alphabet focusing on one letter each week. After finishing, it was decided it would be fitting for our final field trip to be to the zoo. Our playgroup had the same idea of going to the zoo that week, so we invited them along as well as the other Joy School group in our ward. Sarah J was in charge of the zoo field trip and made it really fun with animal crackers and animal shaped juice boxes for each of the kids, along with their own letter scavenger hunt. They could hand in their completed scavenger hunt at the end for a prize. Since Cassidy was all done with finals, he was able to join us. Such a fun way to finish out Riley's first year in Joy School.
