Two years in a row of carving pumpkins...go us! We are determined to make this a tradition! Parker was really excited and kept asking me the whole day when we were going to carve pumpkins. Strangely enough, he didn't actually want to participate when we got started. Riley got right in there and stuck her hand in and helped me separate the seeds, but Parker basically supervised. He liked being around the action and watching, but he did not want to get his hands dirty. They were both pretty excited that we were doing Mickey and Minnie Mouse.
They look so good! I've never successfully pulled off anything more complicated than the standard triangle eyes and sharp toothed smile. I'm very impressed!
