In lieu of F.H.E. tonight, we decided to go to the Oquirrh Temple open house. We didn't take Parker with us to the Draper open house, so we felt that he should come with us this time. I loved having him with us and sharing this with him, although it certainly did make for a different experience from the Draper. Parker wanted to walk along with the group always at a slightly faster pace than mom and dad. Consequently, Parker and I got separated from Cassidy. It was kind of funny...In the sealing room they have you sit down for a few minutes while a couple explain the importance of sealings and what it means to them. There was a family with 4 girls sitting right next to us, and one of the girls (probably about 3 years old) apparently didn't know how to whisper at all and kept saying to Parker, "Where is your daddy?" When her mom tried to quiet her she said,"but mom, where is his daddy?" I don't know why it struck me as being so funny, probably because we were supposed to be being quiet and there was a smaller group of people in the room with us. Oh well. We did finally reunite with Cassidy and went to applebee's from the temple before heading up to Jamie and Jeff's house.
