What a fun weekend! We met up with Cassidy's Mom, Chantelle, Tiffany, Annie and all their families for a little weekend getaway in St. George. Our plan was to leave around 3:30, meet up for dinner at Golden Corral, and then head to the Tuacahn to see "The Little Mermaid". Well, Cassidy was struggling to get everything done at work in time and was starting to wrap things up around 4:30 when his boss called him in to do his review. An hour later, he was finally done! So, needless to say, we didn't get on the road until 5:45, which is already 6:45 Utah time! We drove straight to the Tuacahn and barely made it in time. Sooo, that was slightly stressful. ;) We had never been there before, and had no idea what to expect. It is in such a beautiful area, and the show was amazing! It was so cool to see all the special effects and how they used the water on stage. We enjoyed our Saturday by going for a nice run (okay, that was just me :)), swimming, eating sno-cones, playing at the park, watching movies, and shopping. Grammy was awesome to stay with the kids at night, while the adults went out to get Frozen Custard. The following day, we went to church at a chapel across the street from the Temple. After Sacrament meeting, we enjoyed walking around the Temple grounds and getting pictures taken. We then went back to the condo and celebrated all the Fathers with us (Father's Day) with a special brunch. By then, it was time to clean up, pack up and get on the road. Luckily, Ryan and Tiffany were flying out of Vegas later that day, so they rode back to Vegas with us and we got to spend a few more hours visiting with them and playing games. It was fun to show them where we live. Such a fun little weekend!
