Family Egg hunt and baskets

Gavin got a head start in finding his eggs

We had our main egg hunt the day before Easter at a nearby park.  Each child had their own theme of egg to look for (Parker-sports, Riley-patterns, Gavin-animals) and then there were some free for all eggs with different amounts of money in them. Parker and Riley's eggs contained coupons like "good for one song or app", or "pick game of your choice for family", or "stay up late pass", etc.  It took them a little bit to understand that they had gotten more than just paper in their eggs, but when they finally understood what they were, they were pretty excited, and started going through all of their eggs.  

The Easter Bunny didn't stump Gavin this year, once he got down the stairs, he went right over to his basket.

Riley and Gavin's baskets look pretty bare because the main item for each of them were Puddle Jumpers, which obviously didn't fit in their baskets.

Parker was the last one to find his basket.  The Easter Bunny tried to be extra tricky with him.

We had a wonderful Easter! It was kind of low key, pretty sure this is the first time in our marriage that we haven't been around family or friends for Easter.  I loved watching the "Because of Him" video and doing the resurrection eggs with the kids after church.
