It was hot! Definitely need to bring more water next time!

With so much of our time and energy being put into moving in and getting settled, and Cassidy getting used to the demands of an actual "real" job, we chose to to take advantage of our day off on Monday for Labor Day, and take the family on a fun little outing.  We decided to check out the Hoover Dam. We were fortunate to have Ariel staying with us at time, so he was able to join us.  He helped out so much by making fun little races for the kids and giving the kids rides on his back.

  It was so very hot, but really neat to see.  We are still adjusting to the heat and learning that large amounts of water are necessary anytime we decide to venture out of our air conditioned home and brave the outdoors. We didn't take the Dam tour, but took all the Dam pictures we wanted. (Sorry, I couldn't help myself!) It was a fun day, and afterwards we went to Firehouse Subs for some lunch, followed by playing games at home.
