Yesterday was pretty much all about school. Riley and I went with Parker in the morning to the Kindergarten round up at the school he will be attending in the fall, Kahoa Elementary. Then, in the evening, we all went to Parker's current school for their Family Nature Night. They had so many fun activities for the kids, it was great! When we first arrived, Riley and Parker were each given their own backpack to hold all of their coloring sheets they would get and the projects they would make. They both thought that was pretty cool. The kids could learn about dinosaurs, build with wood, make bracelets, make fireflies using glowsticks, identify animal tracks, pet a guinea pig, see how much a cockroach can pull, make binoculars out of toilet paper rolls and a few other things.. It was so much fun watching them go from station to station and being excited about what that station had to offer.
What a fun time! Who comes up with all the fun activities for kids?
